Together with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), we are bringing you a competition where students will learn about idea generation and security.
Security affects everyone at various levels; personal, enterprise, national and international. As technology challenges the status quo of past processes that used to be simple to protect and define, and as the silver population grows, security can only grow in significance in the future.
An idea alone cannot stand the test of time if it is not useful. To be useful, the inventors must apply knowledge of the real world. By using security as the theme, the ASQ challenge imparts the essence of idea generation to its participants. They will understand the importance of useful ideas, as well as gain experience in research, planning and presentation.
The top three teams will win a trophy and book vouchers. The top five teams will stand a chance to receive sponsorship from the Ministry of Home Affairs to realise their idea.
